He has earned multiple awards and accolades, including the Best Physician in UAE award, solidifying his position as one of the top Rheumatologists in Dubai.

Dr. AlShehhi's expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound has earned him accreditation as a EULAR trainer and an Examiner for the RCPI-Ireland. He was also the founder and twice-elected president of the Emirates Society for Rheumatology (ESR) and served as the Chairman of the Asia Pacific League against Rheumatism (APLAR) in Dubai. Additionally, he has chaired the ACR-ESR meeting in Dubai in collaboration with the American College of Rheumatology and was elected as the Secretary-General for Arabic League against Rheumatism (ARLAR).
